Snow Kids Lessons

This program focuses on Safety, Fun, and Learning. Games are played that include important skills needed to be a good skier or snowboarder. These classes meet three times for 1 1/2 hours and include a slope ticket and rental of equipment. Snow sport helmets are required and included in the fee. Bike helmets are not acceptable. Please arrive 1 hour before lesson time to check in and get equipment to be prepared for the lesson. Students that arrive 30 minutes or less before the scheduled lesson time may only receive a partial lesson. At the end of the third class progress reports will be given to each student and may be used as a guideline for future lessons.

For Villa Olivia Winter Sports: All Season passes, program registrations, and payments are processed at Villa Olivia. The registrations are not available at other park district facilities or on-line. 630-289-1000

Our staff is specially trained and all possible efforts have been made to make the children's visit with us fun and rewarding.

When selecting a program keep in mind that you are enrolling your child for the days indicated. There are no provisions for make-ups.  Only when Villa Olivia has to cancel a class will make up classes be offered.  Parents should always call and confirm whether classes are being held.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN .

 

Clothing Requirements:

  • Warm and waterproof jacket and snow pants (adequate for the weather of the day).
  • Hat (should cover the ears).
  • Only one (1) pair of socks.
  • Turtle neck and/or neck "gators".
  • No scarves or long tasseled hats. These can get tangled in the towropes and present a hazard.
  • Special gloves for tow ropes (or glove guards).

 

  Proper fitting and adjustment

    of equipment requires

     the following information:

  • Weight
  • Boot Size

 

ONLY SKIERS WITH THE CURRENT DAYS SLOPE TICKET AND PROPER EQUIPMENT WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE SLOPES.

Villa Olivia reserves the right to cancel any programs.
With own equipment, deduct $1.00 per session.
To insure a full lesson please arrive 1 hour before the lesson time so there is time to check in and pick up equipment.
